Humans don't seem to have a sense for entropy unlike having a sense for hot and cold (temperature), heavy or light (weight), and many other properties of physical reality. Some of us, however, mastered the art of feeling the entropy and resisting its relentless pull. These ingenious minds learned how to create some order in spite of entropy and chaos, while discovering hidden scientific treasures, creating beautiful works of art and engineering, writing marvelous books or making great movies.
This site is dedicated to these "sentients" who test the limits of our imagination with science fiction, pushing the edge further:
And, of course, on the way to explore this "sixth sense", we shall not be stopped by any other magic (or was it "advanced technology"?), such as time-travel, aliens and predators from outer space, artificial intelligence, psychohistory and precognition, blade-runners and replicants, matrices reloaded, alternate reality, event horizons, spaceships, cyborgs and avatars...
One way to battle entropy is to construct order out of chaos, and a part of this project is to assemble bits (read: string together movie quotes) from different science fiction sources into short but coherent dialogues ("strings"). Some "strings" are published here:
